1963 Chevy 1/2 Ton 4x4 Stepside Shortbox Truck: No Reserve. I've only taken the truck about 10 miles down the road and back a few times since I've had it and it starts and runs geat. I was surprised it didn't wander around the road or shake. The truck needs to be hauled and gone through before putting it on the road. Starts, runs, and drives though! I haven't done anything really with it since I got it and would love to restore it. I'm selling this truck because I've recently restored a 72' Chevelle that has drained me..... Has 427 tall deck big block motor and 4 speed tranny. Gears work good and shifts nice. Clutch is strong. Brakes work, has new brake cylinders, some lines, and power brakes added. Stock power steering and original 4 wheel drive. 4 wheel drive works good in high and low. Has Warn lock out hubs. Has 35" Super Swamper Tires, little tread left and hold air. Seat is shot, not original. Floor boards are good, frame rails are solid, 2 leaf springs were added on each side in the front to support the big motor. The bottom of the box isn't wood, someone welded a flat piece of steel for the bed, supports under the bed are good. The tailgate works and is in good shape. Missing bumpers, not sure of anything else it may be missing. Driver's windoow rolls up and down, but the passenger's window doesn't. The steering column and blinker clamps added on are not original. Blinkers work. Driver's door hinge has been welded, but opens and closes good. Has cluster gauge, water temp, voltage and oil pressure gauges that work. The sppedo and dash gauges don't work. Couple chips in the wrap around windshield, but no big cracks. This truck needs work, it is a good fixer upper, selling as is. Tim 870-749-2251. ****************Addition: I've had several questions about the close up picture of the rust spot with rust holes, I apologize for not explaining that area more: That is an image of the worst rust spot on the underneath of the truck on the passenger side floor board and support. Someone put floor boards over the top in the inside of the truck to cover the holes. That is the only spot that I can find that has rust holes and by far the worst spot on the truck. The rest of the supports under the truck are solid. Thanks!
