Las Vegas Motorcars introduces this incredible project car for the savvy and or skilled enthusiast that knows the ins and outs of Gallardo service and repair! This is 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo E-Gear has 40k super clean documented and well serviced miles! If you have the skill and or a mechanic that has the skill to properly repair this car it will in no doubt turn into an incredible investment. We stumbled upon this Gallardo from a local exotic car owner and quite frankly we just don’t have the time or desire to tie up time and money to fix it. This car was not raced or abused, it simply stopped running for no apparent reason. It has been to the Lamborghini Dealer and they can only diagnose it as “INOP” inoperative with no concrete reason why without tearing the engine down. At this point we don’t know if the starter is locked or if it lost oil pressure and needs the engine rebuilt. Regardless, if you had to rebuild this engine you’d be in the car for less than wholesale if you did it right and be in a great position to make a nice deal for resale or be in the car super cheap to enjoy and drive. The exterior of this Gallardo is finished off in Grigio Altair (Silver Metallic) with Chrome Cassiopeia Optional Factory wheels highlighting all of the visual cues from the outside. The condition of the exterior is EXTREMELY nice for an exotic having 40k miles. These cars sit low to the ground and are very prone to chips, however this car has obviously dodged many of them without many to speak of. It does have a few small chips on the front, and are nothing to be concerned about, completely normal. Below the left side exhaust tip there is a small bump with scratches from what looks like the car touching maybe a curb while backing up, nothing major. One thing worth noting is that on Carfax and Autocheck it shows that the car had an incident with another vehicle. We KNOW 100% what happened, we aren’t guessing and telling stories. While parked in the parking lot after being detailed a Chevrolet truck with a tow hitch backed into a parking spot and dented the hood of this car. We have Lamborghini repair records which CLEARLY show the estimate for only $1,300.00. The prior owner of the car opted to have his insurance facilitate the repair and because of that it shows on the reports. This car was NOT involved in an accident or collision, there is NO damage of that nature and again, it was a small ordeal and if you know exotics a $1,300.00 bill is incredibly small. If this bothers you we understand, please don’t bid. If you can understand then you will know that even though we shouldn’t because it was so small, we still took that into consideration when pricing this car so aggressive as we have done. There are absolutely no excuses with the condition of this car and quite honestly, you could park it next to our super sharp 20k mile 2005 Gallardo we have and it stands just as tall! There are no excuses with the condition of the exterior of this car… On the inside you’ll find Bi-Colour Sportive Interior taking precedence over all of the normal cars out there which most having only one solid color. This is a much welcomed option as most people know and understand just how historic the Lamborghini brand has been with multi-color interiors in the past. The interior of this car has been very well maintained and not abused. There is some delaminating on some of the climate control buttons which is very common on these cars. Every function works properly and there are no issues with the mechanics inside the car. It doesn’t appear that the car was smoked in and there are no signs of such. On the list of upgrades above you’ll see some additions to the audio system. Those of you who know these cars know why. For those that don’t, the only real complaint in Gallardo’s is in the area of audio. This system was done right using super high end equipment and puts the audio components well in line with what they should be for this car. Regardless of your intention with this car you will be in a great position to use the car for fun and or for an investment. If you are an exporter this car works incredibly well as you can buy it for way under the market value, repair it and send it across the ocean for a huge return (you pay taxes on what you bought the car for, remember). If you have the time to have the car repaired this can be a huge investment. For car builders and tuners, this is your perfect opportunity to rebuild the motor and put a twin turbo kit on the car. By doing so you could make a small fortune when you resell it, Gallardo Twin Turbo cars go for ridiculous money! SERVICE + INSPECTION! Las Vegas Motorcars did a complete inspection and prior service examination to determine the validity of the cars past for 100% new owner satisfaction. We have an enormous amount of service history on this car showing that most of the common issues associated with a Gallardo have been resolved. Again, this car has a plethora of services that have been done, most recently the following was completed ALL at the Lamborghini Dealer; @ 35,551 Miles on 07/07/2011, Brand New Tires Installed @ 33,434 Miles on 06/13/2011, Brand New Clutch Kit Installed / Service ($8,013.72 PAID) New Complete Flywheel New Conctric Slave Cyclinder New Clutch New Pressure Plate New Throw-Out Bearing New O Rings Fresh Oil Service New Connecting Bracket New Pan Head Screw New Secondary Air Flow Gasket Despite what may be needed for the engine, the clutch has only 6k miles on it and by no means is it remotely close to being in need of replacement. That’s an enormous burden that can be lifted off the buyers back. Plus the car had new tires installed on it about 5k miles ago so there’s another huge plus and another expense that you won’t need to worry about. There are many common issues that have been replaced with this car, for example the E-Gear pump was replaced 10k miles ago along with new shifter paddles. Several other small items have been corrected and the car is simply ready for a quick rebuild then its back into action. We had a local high end engine builder / tuner inspect the car and its of his opinion that the car ran low on oil due to a possible oil pump issue. He gave us a preliminary estimate of only $10k to install new bearings, rods, pistons and oil pump in the car to get it going again. It’s quite possible you may know someone that can do it for less. We simply don’t know the full nature until we take it apart, but that’s a starting reference point and by no means a guarantee. We are going to try this car a few times on eBay, if it doesn’t meet our expectations we will have this work done and you’ll see the car re-listed for way more money than what we would sell it for plus the bill we will pay.
