THE CAR: You are bidding on a 2010 Volkswagen GTI. This car was purchased NEW in Santa Monica, CA and has been used to go to and from work – 2 miles from my home (hence the low mileage). A growing family means it's time to sell this little hot rod. No food, drink, or cigarette has ever been consumed in the car, and the interior is FLAWLESS. The Dynaudio sound system sounds very nice. There is an included iPod adapter, but I've always just used bluetooth on my iPhone to play wirelessly through the system. It's a smooth ride with NO road noise. EXTERIOR:I tend to grandma-drive it around, and thus get about 22-23 MPG. I'm sure if you have a heavy-foot it will be less. With only 8000 miles on them, the tires are in great condition. One of the wheels has a little curb-side scrape (see picture), but otherwise all are in great shape. There are a couple of minor dings on the exterior, which I've taken pictures of for you to see. Otherwise it has super-shiny paint with NO hail damage or scratches. I've contacted VW to inquire about the selling process, and it seems like it won't be too much of a hassle for the winning bidder. There is a reserve price on the car, but it is BELOW the KBB private-party value. The KBB value for this car is $20,860 - $22,060 based on good - excellent condition, which this car is.
