1946 Pontiac Eight Torpedo LA 4D Sedan 3 speed manual transmission, straight 8 engine - good running old car that is super sharp, and looks perfect from 15 ft away .. Up close shows more signs of needing some minor body work. The car is a reliable, quick starting old car. Does smoke some at start-up only. The car is solid and the trunk has been powder coated for longevity, interior recently redone and is a tan or camel brown color vinyl. Recently repainted, about 2 years ago. All glass on the car is good and the car has an air cleaner also. There are dings and small dents on the car, the panels are in need of some basic body work, and there is some under the paint surface rust in small amounts on the car. There is no headliner, and there is surface rust in that area. There is some bondo in the lower part of the driver door, the lower area. There is no bottom panel in the glove box. AM radio does not work. There is pitting in the chrome areas. This car is being sold by a local collector who is a dealer and 7% sales tax is part of this sale.
