Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a V8 Fiero car sold for parts. It has most of the parts that you will need to convert your 84-87 Fiero to a small block Chevy V8. I do have the title for it that I will sign over to you, but the car is not roadworthy and is sold as-is for parts. If you decide to put it back on the road you are responsible for making it roadworthy at your own risk. There are a lot of good parts, but it has been sitting outside a long time. The Engine, Edelbrock heads, fuel injection, Getrag transmission, V8 conversion kit, headers, clutch, and the rest of the car should be worth more than the price if you have the time to part it out. I am moving and don’t have the time. Make me an offer. The V8 archie master kit sells for $3250. You get all of that plus a Fiero, an engine with aluminum heads, roller cam, fuel injection system, and a Getrag transmission if you buy this car. If you have a Fiero in decent shape it won't take much more to convert your Fiero. Car must be picked up within 3 days after purchase. You must arrange shipping if you can’t pick it up yourself. Here is the good and the bad: The good: -Chevy 350 4 bolt main professionally rebuilt about 5000 miles ago -It was bored 30 over and the crank was turned as well. -326 RWHP @ 5700 RPM 328 ft-lbs of torque @ 4600 RPM a chassis dyno -Edelbrock aluminum heads with 64cc combustion chambers -Forged pistons -Comp cams roller cam part number 12-422-8 grind number CS XR270HR-10 -Roller rockers (1.6 ratio) -GM Powdered Metal connector rods -Accel Pro Ram intake and throttle body -GM 1227730 ECM and chip from a 90-92 Camaro -Moroso electric water pump -Tilton mini starter -Sanderson CC90 headers (ceramic coating is peeling) -V8archie V8 conversion kit -Getrag 5 speed was rebuilt with new synchros around 5000 miles ago. It worked perfect when I parked it. -Stage 3 or 4 clutch. I don’t remember many details about it, except that it fixed the slipping problems that I was having with the clutch that came in the v8archie conversion kit and it cost me about $400 -Polyurethane suspension and engine cradle mount bushings -Custom built 3 row radiator. Car wouldn’t overheat as long as the fan was running. -AC Delco EP367 fuel pump rated at 50 GPH at 50 psi operating pressure. Same pump that was used on a 96 Supercharged Bonneville. -Tires have 90% or more of their original tread. Car hooked up great with the engine in the back over the rear wheels. The bad: -Car has 107,513 miles on it title is mileage exempt because seller filled out the title wrong when I bought it and I didn’t want to hassle with the paperwork to list the odometer correctly. It had over 102,000 miles when I purchased it. -I built the car about 11 years ago and it has been sitting for about 7 or 8 years. I tried to start it 3 years ago. It turned over at the time, but wouldn’t start. The car ran and drove when I parked it due to a failed muffler. I lost interest in the car and it has been sitting outside in the driveway since I parked it. -Car is sold as is. No guarantee of condition of parts after it has been sitting outside for so long. Weather has not been kind to it. -Battery is shot -Radio is not included. I think I still have the original radio and will include it if I find it. -Windshield and plastic windows in the rear are cracked -The brakes were seized up when I tried to push the car in the driveway. After pumping up the tires and pushing on the car I was able to get it to move again. I think the pads were seized to the rotors. -No parking brake. I swapped in front calipers from another car to the back of this car because they had larger pistons and helped it stop better. -Paint is shot. Clearcoat is peeling, you can see fiberglass fibers near the edges of the windows. There is a crack in the body panel near the right rear wheel opening. -Car was hit in the right rear and driver’s door before I owned it. It was repaired before I bought it, but they did a poor job. -Clutch master cylinder and/or slave cylinder are locked up. I pushed in the clutch pedal 3 years ago and the pedal stuck. -Interior is in poor shape. -Fuel injection is running off a GM 1227730 ECM, 90-92 camaro chip and a custom tune. Tune needs work. I used the chip on another project for awhile and reburned the chip to what I think I used to run in it when I tried to restart it 3 years ago. It wouldn’t run, so I’m not sure if it was the tune, fuel injector problems from sitting for so long, bad gas or some other reason. -I haven’t tried to start the car in 3 years. I will get some jumper cables and see if it still turns over upon request
