Up for auction is my 96'XR 400 project bike,I was going to ride it on the street as well as the dirt but I have run out of free time and patience to finish the bike so that is why you see it on e-bay now.The bike has a 440 kit and a larger carb.The work on the engine was done by Thumper Racing in 96'.The chain and sprockets are new as well as the tires,they are street tires but I am including a very nice set of nobbies to go with the bike. The bike also has a new set of Pro Taper handlebars,new oversized gas tank,chain rollers,new fenders, grips,fork protectors,etc... The bike runs great on top but does not like to idle,probably from sitting up too long.Transmission shifts great and bike has a very nice sound.This bike will make someone a very ride with just a little more work.
