Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a very nice 1991 Black Firebird with only 80,296 miles. The car has a salvage titile due to a minor front end accident. The car still runs and drives perfectly, does not leak any fluids, does not burn oil, does not get hot and gets good fuel mileage. The hood has to be tied down while driving now due to the accident. I have included pictures of the damage on the vehicle, with particular attention to the fenders which show no damage. The body, engine, transmission and interior on the vehicle are in outstanding condition and would make for a wonderful vehicle when repaired. The stickers were all new 4 years ago with a good portion of the vehicle having a new coat of paint done at a local professional body shop, including the roof, rear fenders, rear side roof columns, hood and rear spoiler. The vehicle definately turns heads while driving down the road, it looks like a race car. Prior to the accident the only know issue was the AC was not blowing cold air. I owned the vehicle over the last 4 years and it was my daily summer driver, over this time I put 25,000 miles on the vehicle with only one minor repair. I do not believe this vehicle has ever seen the salt. The car has American racing wheels on it which were new 4 years ago, two of the tires should be replaced now with the other two having some life left. There are custom Firebird floor matts included. The dash has no cracks, which is unusual for this model and year. Overall the interior is in excellent condition with only a few minor items like the center console arm rest hinge does not work properly. All gauges and electronics work. As far at the current condition of the car, there is front end damage, I am not a body shop expert but I see the exterior body damage being isolated to the hood, front bumper cover, headlights and bolt in upper plate which the hood latches to. The front fenders were not damaged, moved or scratched as a result of this very low speed accident. In regards to the engine compartment damage, this is very limited, the top bolt in cross plate which the hood latch hooks to is damaged and the radiator is slightly tipped back, maybe about an inch or so. The damage is limited to the top of the bumper cover and hood area as I slid under the back of a moving truck bumper at about 10 MPH. The trucks bumper was not very wide allowing only the middle of the hood and top of the bumber to get damaged and not the fendors. It appears there would not be any lower core support work or body panel work needed at all, with the exception of the hood and the bumper cover. The only reason this was given a salvage title was the GM dealer repair estimate was higher than what the insurance company was willing to pay. You are welcome to inspect the vehicle prior to bidding if you would like, just call me on my cell to arrange an appointment at (248) 877 2128. The car can be driven to the owners address as long as it is daylight as the headlights do not come up and down due the accident. This car is in overall excellent condition less the accident damage and would make an amazing 1st car, it did for me! Bid with confidence, I have a 100% E-Bay rating! On Sep-11-11 at 08:32:46 PDT, seller added the following information: I thought it would be nice to share a few more photos when the car was washed and prior to the accident. These new photos show how nice the car's paint and body surfaces really are. These prictures are #14 & 15. The post accident photos were taken without the car being clean and may misrepresent how clean this car is as I noticed dirt on the car when I zoomed in. Please let me know if you want to see the car! Bid with confidence, I have a 100% E-Bay rating. Enjoy!
