Vehicle Detail

First of all I have been doing early Novas for 15 years. So I know what I'm doing when it comes to these cars. I parted over 100+ cars in that time & restored several. I collected a wide variety of parts for my cars. I bought this car 6 years ago from southern Oklahoma with the intention of turning it into a 2 door sedan. I have all parts to convert this car & they all come with it. I converted 4 cars including my wagon which was a rotisserie restoration that just won 5 awards at the Nova Nationals in Bowling Green KY in July. I don't have the time to start on this car at this time. I don't want the car sitting in my shop taking up space till I'm ready. I drive it on a regular basis & I park it in the winter months. I know what your thinking its a 4 dr sedan. Hold your horses. These cars are easier to find than 2 doors & it don't take much to convert this into a 2 door sedan if you have the parts. Which I do. Sedans are lighter & stronger than hard tops. So they make a better street strip car. This car was born a 6cyl 3 on the tree with no options. Since I owned it I added a factory correct dated 1966 Nova 283 V8 motor & 2 speed power glide automatic transmission. Power steering, Power brakes, Factory Air condition that works great & blows cold. AM radio with FM converter Front & Rear speakers with fader switch, Quartz clock, Tissue dispenser, Hazard switch, Front & rear Bumper guards, Hood & trunk Lights, Rear window defroster. All parts installed are factory Chevy parts. When I started on this car Five years ago I rebuilt the motor to factory specs, rebuilt the entire front suspension with Moog parts. Upper & lower ball joints, a arm bushings, inner & outer tie rods with sleeves.Roller bearing idler arm ($100.00), roller bearing spring perches ($200.00), all 4 power steering hoses, slave cylinder, control valve, pump, strut rod bushings, sway bar bushings & links Front & Rear shocks. About $1500.00 in suspension parts. New brake shoes, hardware & wheel cylinders, power booster & master cylinder. The transmission shifts great & I change the seals, filter & fluid. The rear end is a stock 3:08 gear open rear. I change the fluid & seals. It has new front tires & 4 yr old rears with 60% tread, NOS Y & front exhaust pipes, turbo muffler & tail pipe Interior I change the front seat to a split bench 1st step of the 2door conversion & installed front & rear seat covers. New headliner rear package tray. Car still has original door panels in good condition & carpet. All new door rubber seals & trunk seal. The previous owner removed all the body side moldings & rear door handles & welded up the holes. Their is absolutely no rust repairs made to this car.100% solid GM metal. I had the car blocked & painted 1991 Camaro Maui blue. I did not have the jambs painted knowing that i would be converting the car to a 2 door. Knowing that I would be respraying the car again. The car still has the Mist Blue color in the jambs. I just wanted it to look good as a daily driver work car. This car has giving me trouble free driving for 4 yrs. Everything works as it should blinkers,lights,horn,A/C etc....Runs & drives great with no issues what so ever.No squeaks, rattles, leaks of any kind. The bumpers, trim & glass are all in great condition for being original. I have everything to convert this car to a 2 door sedan. Doors, 1/4's, glass, trim. Why spend thousands of dollars & years of work on rusty cars changing sheet metal. When you can convert this rust free car within a couple weeks & still be driving. This car would triple its value once done. With all the options it has. All the parts that I have to convert this car come with the car. So bring a big truck & trailer I have lots. If you use the buy it now I will include a new in the box flat steel hood just to get it out of my way. I'm not interested in any trades of any kind. I have two many pictures for Ebay so if you want to see more just ask. $500.00 deposit due 24 hours after end of sale buy PayPal. Balance due within 10 days of end of sale in cash. Please have all funds available. Buyer is responsible for pick up. This car as it stands is a very nice everyday driving car with no issues at all. I would not hesitate to drive this car across country today. Where can you buy a rust free 66 Nova with all these options for this price. You cant. Ask any & all questions 1st.
