You are bidding on a 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible. This car is NOT in show condition and has some rust and minor issues. The car is used and I am told that I am the 3rd owner. The registration and inspection in the window expired 08/2009 I purchased the car for fun but my situation has changed where I don't have good storage or a work space. I have NOT had it on the road sice I bought it 6 months ago. I have installed a new exhaust from the, but not including the catalytic converter, to the back. I also installed 2 new rear coil springs as one was broken. The car starts right up but has an electrical drain somewhere so I disconnect the battery. The top and interior are original and in good condition. The only problems are on the doors where the upholstery dried and cracked. The plastic pieces in the 4 corners need replacing and ther is some rust showing on the body. The prior owner gave me copies of any work they had done. All the lights work, the top goes up and down on its own. The radio turns on but there is no sound and the antenna dosen't go up and down. The car does drive down the road, stops, turns etc. I have only driven it a mile or two to test that it ran and stopped. The Brake light in on on the dash. I also replaced 2/3rds of the fuel return line and 1/2 the fuel supply both with steel flared lines. My son and I love the car but don't have the proper time or space for it.
