BMW R65 - This 1979 model was in a private collection for over 20 years and the mileage is correct!! It only has 11023 miles on it and she is very good condition. The two hardcover saddlebags come with it, but I was too lazy to get them down from the attic. I purchased this wonderful BMW 16 months ago and have much more than the reserve price invested. It has been freshened up with new rubber (the best), the carburators rebuilt, new fluids, plugs and anything else that was needed. There are a couple of known imperfection that I have not addressed. The mirror posts are have surface rust and should be rechromed or replaced. The keys to the saddlebags are missing. The R65 model was one of the first with front disk brakes and has the quality that only a German BMW can provide. I would love to keep the bike, but health issues force the sale. You can purchase this R65 for much less that I have invested in her. I believe it is one of the best in the country.
