I am re-listing this with a lower reserve. Very nice 1959 Chevy Apache short step side pickup, Resto-Mod ,fresh Gun Metal Metallic Urethane paint,paint job is what I would call "driver quality"-there are a few flaws here and there that would have to be pointed out to be noticed.The body is sitting on a 1976 Chevy frame, the entire front suspension has been rebuilt,new a-arm bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends,shocks. new poly bushings in the rear leaf springs, to lower the stance a little bit it has 2 1/2" drop spindles in the front and a axle flip kit in the rear.About 200 miles on a freshly rebuilt 1992- LO5- 5.7 litter Chevy engine,and 700R4 trans that came out of a police car,new exhaust with Thrush mufflers, it has power steering,( new booster,master cylinder, and new power steering box, power disc brakes in the front-drums in back, I used the12 bolt rear axle that came with the 76 chassis,I don't know the ratio.New aluminum radiator with a 16" electric fan.All pumps and alternator are new. The interior is new with 1985 Chevy bucket seats (with the seat belts built in), 1985 steering column, custom electronic gauges, all new glass, door panels, and headliner,carpet, & Locar shifter. Gas tank was moved to the rear with the filler cap inside the bed.I used composite wood for the bed that doesn't rot or mildew. New front bumper and roll pan in the back.Tires also have about 200 miles on them. There are four things that still need attention, I could not get the electric wiper motor to work,( I have another motor that will go with the truck), There is no horn, and the gas gauge is off a little bit,it shows empty when there is still 6 gallons of fuel left,( the float rod needs to be a little bit longer), and there is no emergency brake handle(A universal handle that goes between the seats would work).I have built this truck to be a driver not a show truck but it wouldn't take much to take it to the next level. Also, please don't ask for my reserve price, I would like the auction to run its coarse. You can e-mail me with any questions. On Aug-31-11 at 08:04:57 PDT, seller added the following information: I would like to add that I have a clear New Mexico title in my name for the truck, it is titled as a 1959 Chevrolet pick up. also it has a new Painless wiring harness, and I have all the cables for the emergency brake, it just needs a handle installed. There was no rust repair work done on the truck just small dent repair.
