You are biding on a 1957 ford fairlane 500. This car was recently purchased at an estate sell. Previous owner took motor and trans out and starting restoring it in the 80's. Project sit for years inside unfinished as owner lost interest in it. Unfortanlty the owner past away before car was restored. The body of the car is really straight with only few minor dings. Appears to have its orginal paint. I have not seen any evidence of bondo or previous repairs. Most of the glass is still in good shape except driver door glass and right quarter glass is cracked. Stainless around glass is still in good shape with only couple small dings. Body has few small rust areas which include small pin holes on right rear quarter behind wheel, few small holes in both rockers, pin holes starting under licence plate and the worst but not bad is in drivers rear quarter behind wheel. Has few places that are around and inch or two wide.(see pics). But over all is a very solid car. Floor and trunk are also solid. Only seen few small pin holes behind driver seat in rear floor. Very minor. Interior looks to be mostly complete but needs redone. Dash is still complete down to key and glove box liner. I also have most of the side stainless for the car. All four hubcaps are there in good shape. Back bumper is driver quality. Missing front bumper, few emblems and trim pieces. Motor and trans are also missing. I have a clear open title from previous owner estate. I have owned lot of old car and havent seen one in along time that is as straight and complete to start with as this car.
