This Beautiful 454 Convertible was purchased from Corvette Mike in Costa Mesa California as a low mileage original Corvette in 1984 with only 58,000 miles on it. The car has remained in the family ever since. It has been driven, very well maintained and babied for the last 27 years. An increasingly rare combination as there were only 4900 convertible made in 1973, If you add the 454 and Air Conditioning options, I doubt if more than a thousand of the cars were made. All numbers match and I have the tank (build) sheet. Hard and soft tops are included. The Engine was rebuilt 30,000 miles ago. The transmission, a Turbo 400, was rebuilt less than a thousand miles ago and featured Kevlar bands. The carburator was rebuilt last month along with new plugs and wires. The Master Cylinder was replaced six months ago. Fuel Tank and sock were replaced two years ago. The Calipers are perfect. The Rear Leaf Spring is Less than two years old. So the car sits the way it should. The paint, interior and chrome are in excellent condition. The Engine compartment is nicely detailed. The tires are one year old. This car runs, drives and looks the way it should. The car is sold as-is, where-is. No warranty expressed or implied.
