I looked several years for a 38 Chev. Coupe that was a streetrod. With no luck I decided to build my own. Two years ago I purchased this car from S. California with the intention of making it into a streetrod. After collecting most of the parts I could not bring myself to chopping up this car. It is totally original right down to the number matching 216. It was restored many years ago and used very little. It is a beauty, as you can see by the pictures. It is an original California car that still maintains its original all steel body with no rust ever. It runs and drives as it should just like it did in 1938. The motor runs perfectly smooth. The doors, deck lid, hood, grill, etc. have perfect gaps and open and close perfectly. You would not be disappointed by this car. I do have most of the parts to make it into a streetrod if someone wanted to, they in include a fresh complete 327, fresh turbo 350, and a corporate 10 bolt out of a 1971 Nova that is completely new from the gears, posi, and axles. They are available to the buyer for $4000.00 extra. I will guarantee this car, If you buy it and come to pick it up and don't like it, you don't have to take it. Thanks for looking.
