This European-spec model 350SE is in amazing condition befitting of the just over 57,000 original miles showing on the working six-digit odometer. [It has always been an extra car for the previous two owners]. It is one of several cars in my small personal collection ALL OF WHICH ARE FOR SALE!!! It features the 3.5 liter aluminum V8 engine [NOT the U.S. 4.5 V8 or 2.8 liter six cylinder] mated to the factory automatic transmission. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. It also sports a working original Becker "Monza" am/fm/cassette stereo, electric sunroof, manual windows, blue velour cloth interior with two front sheepskin covers, first aid kit, chrome bumpers [not the big rubber-clad U.S. ones] and alloy wheels with excellent rubber. This IMMACULATE and SUPER ORIGINAL 350SE is a great find for the Mercedes Benz enthusiast or for someone who just wants a cool sunday cruiser that is appreciating in value while you own it. This is a VERY dry clean virtually 100% perfectly rust-free classic 33 year-old Benz. I am told by the previous owner that the car received a $4,000 correct-color respray about 3 years ago. It has a few minor blemishes, chips and rock nicks with the chrome and trim in quite beautiful and original condition. The alloy wheels could benefit from a repaint but again there are only minor imperfections to this VERY presentable and still stately great looking Benz. THE INTERIOR The interior of this Benz is in VERY original excellent condition overall with the factory Euro blue velour seating with is in VERY good condition except for one spot on the side corner under the sheepskin cover. There are a couple of minor dash cracks. The original carpets are even in great only slightly worn condotion! Overall this is a beautiful well-preserved super original interior with working stereo, electric sunroof. All gauges and controls work as they should. The radio needs a new antenna. THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE This classic Benz starts, runs and drives VERY WELL with smooth and supple suspension free of any noticeable clunks, rattles or shimmies, nice running engine with good acceleration, smooth and proper up and down shifting of the transmission along with quiet exhaust system. There is a slight whine in the rear differential when decellerating. This car is quite a joy to drive with that still VERY solid and smooth classic Benz feel! THE DETAILS AND $$$$$$ 1.
