Up for sale is a 2001 Audi S4 2.7T 6 speed that has 182k original miles on it. This car was highway driven, and it shows by its overall condition. This car was purchased for a friend that, upon getting the car in, he could not come up with the rest of the money. It is now being put up for sale. This car has never been wrecked, and wears all original paint. Please feel free to look at the Autocheck. It is totally stock, and drives well. There are no clunks in the front end, no wheel bearing issues, and no turbo noise. The car doesn't overheat, or make any odd noises. NOW the car does have an issue. It misfires and acts like it is running on 3 cylinders below ~3500 RPM. As soon as the turbo's spool, and the boost comes on, the car runs and pulls hard. Misfires stop, and it runs like a strong S4 should. Now please understand this HAS NOT been diagnosed. It could be as simple as plugs/coilpacks, or it could be much greater. I have personally driven the car around, and above 3500 rpm's you would never know it has misfires. It really runs very strong. It is being sold ABSOLUTELY AS-IS. It is up to you to decide if your ok buying the car needing work. If you are not, please do not make an offer. All NJ residents will need to pay the sales tax when the car is picked up.
