This is a 1979 Honda xl 500s dual sport bike. It is very good condition, starts right up and runs and drives perfectly. I am the second owner and have had the bike for 10 years, in which I have put about 800 miles on it. It has dirt knobbies with about 800 miles on them. The original tires still had good tread but they were cracked. It is missing the rear turn signals, and the front are aftermarket. It has a supertrap muffler, the speedometer bezel is cracked, and the tank has a dent and a few scratches - but no rust. Some parts have been repainted due to fading, the side covers, fenders, etc. The seat has a small hole in it as well. I replaced the chain a while back, along with the seals in the valve cover. New spark plug as well. Overall it is very clean and a beautiful looking bike. It runs as good as it looks, never broke down, always starts right up. Will accept cash or cashiers check from a known US bank only, bike will not be released until I am able to cash, buyer is responsible for pick-up or shipping. Payment in full is required within 5 days of auction. Will only sell to lower 48 states. If payment is not received within 5 days bike will be relisted and negative feedback left.
