Here is an '84 300 SD up for auction. This will include: a Veggie-system-setup, with it's own separate gas tank, for running on Vegetable Oil, if you so wish. All you need to do, is have it installed. There is a 1-800 number to call for support on this type of installation, on one of the parts. This system was originally installed in another car, and was running. I've since 'parted out" that vehicle, and can include the system with this particular 300SD.And in case you're wondering, No, I do not do this type of installation at my shop. This vehicle is BIO-diesel ready. Description: Exterior: Excellent body condition, with excellent paint. Normal tiny chips and one minor scratch on trunk lid; barely visible. Bumpers are in excellent shape; not scuffed up, and ZERO rust throughout the car. Interior: Tan leather interior: one small tear on driver's backrest (see pix). Dash in excellent condition; no cracks. CDStereo installed and working. All windows and sunroof working well. Carpets in excellent shape, along with headliner; this was a non-smoker car. Interior lights all working. Blower motor working for heater, AC all parts included - and yes, it gets cold. Engine: Vehicle starts right up, in coldest weather, with NO smoking, No "funny" noises; Sounds smooth and excellent. By the way, just performed a valve job on this car. Parts included: new headgasket set, exhaust & intake valve guides and valve stem seals. Did grind seat valves.Reason for valve job: when adjusting valves, and out of curiosity, we took one spring off and checked for wear on guide: found too much play, and so performed valve job.Oil filter housing gasket has been replaced. Fully serviced. Turbo tube seals replaced. Transmission: Transmission has been serviced; new filter and fluid. Shifts beautifully, perfectly, with NO hesitation. Most importantly: Reverse responds smoothly and immediately, without delay or "bang". Suspension: New lower ball-joints and front wheel alignment.
