One Senior Adult owner, meticulously kept 2000 Lincoln LS......has been the perfect family car until the timing chain failed last week. My mechanic has told me it will require a partial or perhaps a full rebuild? My wife and I have since decided to treat ourselves to new fancy car for to complete our golden years. This may be perfect if you are handy with engines? The car has been professionally maintained by our same mechanic since brand new, and is in fine condition other than the motor will not run until the engine is fixed. No rust or rot, no issues with the drivetrain, no body damage, no interior damage (normal wear), no issues with electrical..... the car was running beautifully (just like a Lincoln) right up until the timing chain broke. It shocked me. We'll both really miss our car! The car has all of the options normally found in the LS package..... and to the best of my knowledge, all function(ed) fine. There is a really neat six changer CD player in the trunk, and also a cassette player on board....best of both eras.... Sounds great! I was able to take these few pictures, it is located in central Nassau County, on Long Island, NY. My son will be happy to assist with your shipping company to any US location.... he says it is easy. (He's such a nice guy!) Shipping costs, if necessary, are the responsibility of the buyer. I have priced the car very fair for a quick sale to the right handy person. Remember, as it sits now, it does not run...... I have been told it is the timing chain, although I cannot personally verify this. There are no warranties current or implied, and the car is sold as a final sale... "As Is". Have clear Title in hand......The car is also for sale here locally, I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
