Vehicle Detail

1967 Dodge Coronet 500 with the original 383 4 barrel engine. This car has 62,584 actual original mileage. It has Air Conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power top, power windows, bucket seats with automatic on the floor center console, original AM radio that works great, the car's cigarette lighter even works. All lights and blinkers work, convertible top goes up and down great, all the power windows go up and down except for the passenger rear quarter glass (I don't think it is getting power from the switch). There is also a badge on the grille of the car that says (STANDARD OIL TEST CAR). The underside of the car (floors) and trunk are solid. H in the VIN number in 1966-67 stands of 383/325hp not 340 as emails have suggested. Please check http://www.yearone.com/yodnn/VehicleInfoDecoding/MoparDecoding/MoparVINDecoding/MoparVIN19661967/tabid/328/Default.aspx This car has been garage kept all its life and has been sitting since 2001 when the owner passed away. Car appears to have all original body panels in place. There are some dings here and there and some scratches and chips in the paint (NO DENTS). The lower body trim has some dings in it here and there. The seam on the convertible top on the passenger side is coming apart (see pic). The front seats have seat cloth covers over them and you can feel the original vinyl underneath. This is a great old convertible that looks great and is very presentable for Saturday night cruises and showing off a very rare cool car. Car is priced to move, if it don't move I will make the time to fix the head gaskets and put it back at the original asking price of 13,000.00. We fired the car up and the engine sounds strong but it has blow by, I believe it to be a possible head gasket leak. We drove it around the block and it drives really nice and smooth with no rattles or noise of any kind (better than most new cars). Other than a slight engine issue this is a really great solid clean car and I bet you would be the only one around your area that has one. Any questions please feel free to ask them. If you want to talk on the phone or see the car in person before the auction ends just let me know. There will be a deposit due with in 48 hours of auction ends and final full payment due in 7 days of ending by a VERIFIABLE CERTIFIED CHECK OR CASH ONLY! Buyer is to make all the shipping arrangements and car must be paid in full before shipper is allowed to load. The car can be stored up to 30 days but it must be paid in full. Don't miss out on this great rare convertible and bid to buy! Car is for sale locally and auction can end at anytime.
