Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1947 Lincoln Continental Convertible. It has a 6.0 liter V-12 engine that makes 300 hp. It is backed by a 3 speed manual transmission. This is a very rare Lincoln with only 738 convertibles being produced. This vehicle just came out of a long time storage and is still in good shape with 69,604 actual miles. This car would be a great driver for someone or a great starter car for a restoration project. The car runs, drives and stops ok but it might need a engine tune up to drive on a regular basis due to the time it has been sitting in storage. The Lincoln has a clean Ohio title. I encourage you to come and inspect the vehicle for yourself and it can been viewed in Barberton, Ohio 44203 by appointment only. If you have any questions feel free to email me and I will respond as soon as I can. Vehicle is being sold as is. A $500.00 non refundable deposit must be paid via paypal with in 24 hours of the close of the auction. The balance of the item must be paid for in full within 7 days after the close of the auction. The car must be paid in full by Cash in person, Money order, or wire transfer before it will be shipped or picked up. All the shipping charges and arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer. The vehicle is for sale locally so seller reserves the right to end the auction early On Aug-16-11 at 19:39:56 PDT, seller added the following information: I am sorry everyone I was given the wrong info on the engine specifications. I was given the specifications from http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/default.aspx?carID=1611&i=2 and I understand they are wrong. The engine is a 292 cu in V-12 making 125 hp and 220 ft-lb of torque according to other web sites.
