2008 Volvo V50 with 45,300 actual miles. Disclosure: This vehicle was involved in a minor front-end collision in March of 2011. I purchased this car after the body work/paint was completed. The car had the front bumper, radiator, hood, air cleaner system, steering wheel module, driver's airbag, software, and oil filter housing replace new. Tanner Volvo Motors in Phoenix did the work ($2,748 total) after I purchased the car. There is dash light for the driver's air bag that is still on (even though the air bag has replace brand new). Tanner Motors verified that the car is very safe but if I wanted the dash light to be fixed it would cost $850. Tanner Motors can verify that this is a solid/great running car. I drove this car from Phoenix to San Diego and back and had absolutely no problems. The 15.9 gal capacity fuel tank will take you 400-480 miles without refueling. This has been my daily driver and has been excellent since the day I had it fixed (see invoice). FYI: I took this car to CarMax to have them give me a cash offer in "as is" condition. After totally inspecting the car, they offered me $5,000. Knowing CarMax is in the business of buying low and selling high I am offering this car for auction on Ebay to the highest bidder regardless of price over $5,000. This car has no frame damage and you can verify with Carfax or with Tanner Volvo. This car runs straight. As a test, I frequently drive with my hands off the wheel for several hundred meters on the road/freeway lanes and the car does not deviate. Equally impressive is when I don't have my hands on the wheel and break hard or soft. The car maintains a straight path to a full stop. The motor sounds excellent and when I drive friends in it and punch the gas they always say the car sounds amazing. If you have test driven this model you'll know what I mean. The A/C system blows cold. The factory 8-speaker with amp sound system with the iPod input sounds amazing...great acoustics...again if you have test driven you will agree. In town with the A/C blowing I get 25 mpg (see photo). On the San Diego trip the mpg went up to 30.2 mpg. Everything works perfect with the electrical system, all lights/sensors work fine, as does the motor/transmission/drive line. The tires are at 90%...lots of tread left. The beige interior is in excellent condition. Aluminum trim, steering wheel volume control/cruise control, built-in Sirius radio, 6-CD changer in addition to the iPod dock, power adjustable driver's seat, heavy duty rubber Volvo floor mats, cargo cover, outside temperature gauge, avg mile per gallon gauge, auto power windows (one touch up or down), Volvo receiver hitch/bike mount (if you have a road or mountain bike you will appreciate). In the next 24-hours I will upload a YouTube video of the car so you can see it operate. If you have done your homework on KBB.com or Edmunds you'll see this car has a fair market value of approx. $18,500-$21,500 if it was in excellent condition. Since it has a restored/salvage title CarFax says the value is $1,880 less than if it was in excellent condition. Naturally I am very realistic if I am willing to let this go for anything over $5,000. Make your best bid. You won't be disappointed.
