1999 MPI MIniThis is a European Spec Mini. They were built in Europe until 1999 with electronic, multi-port fuel injection and a driver's side airbag! Enjoy modern reliability and quick starts with classic looks. We've upgraded a few of the suspension bits and replaced the cylinder head the car runs very strong. It is a blast to drive and gets a thumbs up from everyone that sees it. This car is titled as a 1977 Leyland Mini so there is no problem registering it in the US. Engine and Drivetrain- Engine runs strong, cylinder head replaced last summer, Idle Air Control Valve Replaced this sprng- Transmission shifts smooth and clutch engagement is good, but the car does pop out of reverse on occasion if you don't hold it in.- New Header-back Exhaust (sounds great!)- K&N Intake Suspension and BrakesSuspension is tight, the car turns and stops great.- Upgraded springs from Rubber Elastomer Spring Cones to Sport coil springs from Mini Mania- New Billet Aluminum Spring Hats- New Poly Sway Bar Bushings- New Poly Engine / Trans Mounts- New Dogbone Driveline support Bushings- Replaced rear drums and shoes Exterior- Sportpac Style Fender Flares and Wheels- Sumitomo Tires with Plenty of tread left- New Fog Lights- Clear Tail Light Lenses- There are a few blemishes and bubbles pictured, but overall the car looks fantastic Interior- Seats, Carpet and Dash are in great shape. A crack or two in the faux wood finish of the upper door panels, but nothing that takes away from the car.- Upgraded all door hardware to Machined Aluminum (no more flimsy Plastic!)
