Vehicle Detail

1923 Ford T Bucket. Purchased in Fall of 2006 from a mechanic who built the car from the ground up. He spared no expense. I have driven it about 200-300 miles each year. I bought a motorcycle this spring and I have only taken it out a couple of times to keep the fluids running through it. 327ci Chevrolet engine bored .030 over with TRW forged flat top pistons, solid lifter cam, roller rockers, double hump heads (with hardened seats, screw in studs guideplates, and stainless valves), and a gear drive. Dual Holley fuel pumps feeding the Holley 4 barrel carburator. Braided steel lines with fittings, routed through the frame for a professional clean look. New Interstate battery and chrome alternator last fall. 350 Turbo streetfighter automatic transmission by TCI, Lokar shifter, and TCI 3000 stall torque converter. Ford 9" rearend with 3.73 gears, Detroit Locker differential, and stock drum brakes. Weld Racing Rims with Mickey Thompson Sportsman Tires. Front tires like new 28x7.5-15LT. Rear tires have good tread and are 33x19.50-15LT. Total Performance Performer front axle with Wilwood Dynalite disc brakes. Body is by Speedway Motors. Flames are painted not stickers. Auto Meter gauges (mph, odometer, rpm, amps, water, and oil). Jegs fuel pressure gauge near the carberator. RJS Harness including lap and shoulder belts. Pioneer MOSFET 50Wx4 AM/FM/CD player with Sony Xplod speakers.. Clear title as a 1923 Ford Roadster, NOT as a kit car. This is a driver, not a trailer queen. The only things wrong with the car would be to touch up the rock chips on the black stabilizer/sway bars and some of the paint on the manifold and engine block is chipping away (see photos). The engine starts right up, runs cool, has a nice sounding cam, and has always has been pampered with synthetic motor oil. Hit the gas, the pipes come to life, the rear tires spin and grip, and the car moves on out. Only thing left to do is hang on and wave at all the "thumbs up" you get :) Car has always been garage kept. Each winter it is placed on jacks with wheels off the ground. This is a low reserve auction. You couldn't buy the components to build this complete car anywhere near the reserve price. NO INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS. USA ONLY.
