All glass is clear and unscratched. All chrome highly reflective with no patina showing. Tires have approximately 50% tread. Interior Upholstery exceptional here, no signs of wear, no rips, discoloration on the very fine Saddle Tan Leather Interior. Correct shifter, Emergency Brake, and covered hinges. Jet Hot ceramic coated headers and side pipes. In closing I personally enjoy driving this Cobra, you cannot go anywhere with out constant Thumbs up and drawing a crowd. ALSO I DO NOT WISH TO BASTERDIZE THIS CAR, I HAVE had many offers to sell the car with out the engine or to purchase the engine separately, please... I wish to leave this beauty as is. So don’t ask!! We all know that the engine alone is worth 25-30k-I have been offered 25k for just the block. All FE engines are a bit scarce, but the 427 Side-Oiler is a very rare breed - with commensurate price. Almost all the good cores have been absorbed by the major engine builders, who keep them for their own use. . Original Shelby Cobras used both the 427 and 428 engines. For FIA homologation purposes, the first 120 427s (approximately - the exact number is not known) had the NASCAR 427 Side-oiler. All FE engines are a bit scarce, but the 427 Side-Oiler is a very rare breed - with commensurate price. Almost all the good cores have been absorbed by the major engine builders, who keep them for their own use. . Original Shelby Cobras used both the 427 and 428 engines. For FIA homologation purposes, the first 120 427s (approximately - the exact number is not known) had the NASCAR 427 Side-oiler. They produced about 475 bhp from 12.5:1 compression ratio with Medium-riser heads.
