Vehicle Detail
2000 Mercury Villager Estate is white with gold on bottom. This van has 116,147 miles and runs well. I am the second owner when purchased in January 2003 with 28K miles. This vehicle was used to drive from Connellsville to Latrobe up till the last 3 ½ months. Since then I have purchased another vehicle and have not had it up for sale up to this point. It was due for inspection, but I did not take it in because the speedometer quit. A new sensor ($50) was installed, but it did not solve the issue. I cannot tell what the problem actually is since not much time was spent working on it. I will not have time for a while and do not want it sitting. It has been a dependable vehicle for years, but now needs a little TLC. I will list in detail the pro’s and con’s and start the auction at a reasonable price. Thank you for looking. If you have any questions, please let me know and I will answer a.s.a.p. This is a 3 day listing with pickup within 3 days since that is when I will have time to transfer title. Con’s -Surface rust (shown in pictures) on bottom of doors and on edge of the hood (hard to see, but It is shown in picture of front) -Speedometer not working it just reads 0 -Cruise Control is not working -Radio works, but lights which include the digital clock is not lit. (Occasionally comes on which is weird) -Rear wiper does not work all of the time. -Air Conditioner does not work -drivers side back door handle needs replaced -Dent near gas tank -cigarette burn in passenger front seat -stain in carpet (pink) in hatch along wall Pro’s (Works great) -20+ miles per gallon -leather seats -driver and passenger power seats -power windows -lumbar support in driver seat -reads outside temperature -reads automatic mpg (instant and average) -driver and passenger air bags -recorder/message play back -cd changer in addition to cassette player -flip down magnified mirror from roof to watch passengers -garage opener holder -4 bucket seats with full back seat -Seats 7 passengers -ear phone outlet for rear seating -radio controls in back seat -removal rear bucket seats -shelf in hatch with netting -rear seat fold up and is movable on track -security system (even when windows are down; if someone puts their arm through, it goes off!) -2 keyless entry with panic buttons -dual back doors (always greased rubber to assure easy slide during winter months)
