This is a very nice example of a de-commissioned county sheriffs unit. It is a 2005 with 108K miles. It is clean, it has been well maintained by the county, the air blows cold, it rides and drives nice, and it is mechanically sound. Due to some slight pulsation when the brakes were applied, my shop pulled all four wheels and found that the front rotors needed to be replaced, so the rotors and pads were replaced. There are no signs of oil leaks, it shifts well, and the spare tire has never been on the ground. There are some small scratches where the decals were removed which you can see in the photos of the drivers side. It has the proven 3800 V6 engine which gets very good gas mileage. Overall, I would classify this Impala as a very nice car. Because it is a six year old car with 108K miles, it is being sold as-is with no warranty expressed or implied. NOT FOR SALE IN INDIANA. (Indiana law requires a retired police car to be painted a solid color before being operated on Indiana public streets and highways). Buyer will be responsible for pickup or making arrangements for shipping. Winner will be required to immediately pay a $500.00 non-refundable deposit via PayPal, and the balance will be due in full, by cashiers check or cash, when the vehicle is picked up. The transaction must be completed in full within 7 days of auctions end. That said... if the car is purchased buy-it-now, it's a pretty sweet car for under $5,000.00 considering it's cleanliness, it's past maintenance, the fact that everything mechanical on the car is all heavy-duty unlike standard Impalas, and don't forget, these police units are built to go hundreds of thousands of miles, and maintained so when you jump in it, it starts and performs without hesitation.
