We came so CLOSE! Relisting at NO RESERVE ! You bid the minimum and this beauty is yours unless somebody outbids you!! NADA values this car at $15,600.00 for a 20-footer (looks good at 20 feet. This baby looks good within an inch!! ALL original except rebuilt engine. Why take the risk of paying thousands for a car that may blow an engine before you get it home? This Thunderbird is warranted for 100,000 miles (or three years). How can you beat that for this price??? You are looking at an incredible survivor that is BETTER THAN NEW! Why? Because this beautiful car was garage hidden for almost two decades, sadly... that worked against it as the fluids were not drained. Purchased from original owner (copy of original pink) but... Many mechanical problems after we got her fired up.... still, she was just too beautiful to ignore. So, I decided to invest in a total rebuild and had the engine rebuilt by JASPER ENGINES (Google them). Jasper warrants their work for 3 years/100,000 miles and the warranty IS transferable. Also, JASPER is recognized by mechanics nationally to honor the warranty. So essentially, you are buying a car that has a better warranty on it than when it was new. The car drives absolutely beautiful, the AC blows 34 degrees (also rebuilt and warranted for 1 year). So many of you are asking same questions so have added this information: Yes, the engine was pulled out of the car and sent to Jasper Engines. Approximately 3 weeks later, Jasper sent the engine back to the Mechanic where it was installed. Labor ($1,575.00) Mechanics note: Used your carburetor, AC Condensor, and Motor Mounts (saving $1,000) The condition of this car is unbelievable, nearly showroom fresh. The 8-track works beautifully. With exceptiion of the clock, EVERYTHING works on this car like (or better) than when it was new. The spare tire has never been on the ground and still has powder residue from manufacturer. Because the car was stored for so long, the tires had a flat spots, so I went ahead and had ordered and had new WSW tires put on it. BRAND NEW TIRES, new (rebuilt professionally and warranted) ENGINE at a cost of nearly $7000-less than asking price, new AC. W A R R A N T E D. This is simply the nicest Thunderbird you are going to find. It may not be the lowest in mileage on the car itself, but the engine only has 500 miles on it.... 99,500 left on warranty!! The paint is ORIGINAL. The vinyl top and moldings are ORIGINAL. The media cloth velour seats are ORIGINAL. Very few Thunderbirds ha media cloth seats!! You can look and look and look AND LOOK.... but are are not going to find a nicer 20th Anniversary Thunderbird that will give you 3 years or 100K miles of peace of mind because of the warranty. This car has the correct pin striping AND the correct chrome dish wheels that came standard on the Copper luxury Edition. It is very well equipped. All windows, pwr antenna, trunk realease, interior opera lamps, and door locks work. Left and RIGHT hand control mirrors, cruise control. DUAL power seats!! Nothing will give you a flash back to your FORD dealer's showroom floor as if you were standing there 36 years ago. This is the nicest bird you are going to find!! I "saved" this car so it could find a good home. BUT! You won't have that worry!! This car has transferable 3 yr/100K mi. warranty!! IFind another 1975 Thunderbird that will give you that!! This car was rebuilt to OEM specifications. The engine was NOT replaced, the 460 is ORIGINAL REBUILT. Again, please Google Jasper Engines and learn the quality of their workmanship. The only fault on this car is the clock doesn't work, and a few tiny door dings on the passenger's side (see picture). But, you have to look for them, white is forgiving. Glass is flawless. Car is ready to show! All paper work is in the glove box documenting servicing until it was put in storage. Also included is new car dealer brochure and the build sheet. This car was a Christmas present given to a lady from her husband in 1974 here in California. Most Copper Editions were all copper, this was ordered polar white. These cars were built for the affluent, and was the third most expensive American car made when this baby was new, followiing the Mark IV and the Eldorado. This baby is FAT and FABULOUS!!! Others may say you will never find a nicer THUNDERBIRD than theirs.... I accept their challenge AND mine has WARRANTY!! This car is EXEMPT from California smog!! Note: This car HAS NOT BEEN DETAILED! This is how it was found with exception of running through the Costco Car Wash and (of course) engine rebuild! THIS IS A 20TH ANNIVERSARY MODEL WHICH ADDS 10% TO THE VALUE (SEE NADA OLD CAR VALUES). 20TH ANNIVERSARY MODELS WERE OFFERED IN EITHER COPPER OR SILVER PACKAGES. Only the Aniversary models had landau (half) vinyl roofs in 1975. the COPPER EDITION was the ONLY model to have the frenched rear window.
