Up for your consideration is my extremely clean 2005 GTO. I bought this car new, off the showroom floor in the spring of 2006. From the moment I drove this car off the lot, I have babied it, based on the the thought that I was going to keep this car for many years to come and enjoy playing with it while I watch the value of this unique auto rise. Due to personal issues, I've made the tough decision that it's time to sell the car and move on to other ventures in my life. I am sad to see this awesome ride go but I need to do what is best for myself and my family. I have been told that I am a very picky person who pays extreme attention to small details. This statement can be supported by the condition of my 2005 GTO, I honestly think that you would have a very hard time finding a cleaner example of this car. I have cleaned and waxed this car frequently, it's always spotless, it's always parked inside of a garage and it's only seen rain once. This car sits in my garage from October until May because it's never driven in the snow. When the car wasn't being driven, it was sitting with a battery tender on it, in the garage with the Griot's Car Cover on it. The Griots cover comes with the car, that is essentially the only NON stock item that comes with the car. Have you ever driven an 05 GTO? These cars are AWESOME, touting 50 more horsepower over the 04 model, this is the car to have. It's essentially a dressed down Vette which becomes evident when you turn the key and the 6.0 liter, 400hp monster roars to life with a nice, throaty exhaust note, you know that there is more to this car than meets the eye. The factory 18" rims and factory rubber really put the power to the road and the Tremec six speed is a perfect marriage for the big V-8. This car is sort of a sleeper. It has great sexy lines but nothing as ostentatious as a Vette or Mustang for example. It has clean, civilized looks but don't be fooled, this car HAULS THE MAIL! The weight to HP ratio is 9.3lbs to 1 hp and does 0-60 in well under five seconds. These are near supercar numbers! Go out and beat on 98% of the cars on the road with this awesome, well cared for GTO. Please bid on this car knowing that it is near perfect. There are two extremely small (2mm?) marks on the front of the hood from road debris and I didn't want to touch it up myself and haven't had time for a professional repair.
