Vehicle Detail
My truck runs good, she just needs a little tender lovin' care to be perfect. You can drive her home today! I still drive her, she will work hard for you! It has been almost 20 years since Chevy came out with this beautiful body style and new front end look for the blazer, and 12 years since GM retired the full size 2 door chassis. This truck will be considered a classic as of July this year, I need to be assured that she goes to a loving owner that will restore her to her full beauty. Yeah, I am sappy when it comes to my truck. Up for sale here is a 1992 Chevy 2 door K5 Blazer. Comes with power everything. 4 wheel drive as well. Blue cloth interior, aftermarket CD player, factory tinted windows, and tow package. SHE COMES WITH A REESE HITCH PEOPLE!!! HITCH AND 3" BALL!! Y'all love that, right?! She does need TLC. Here is a quick run down of some of what needs to be done for her to be restored to the point that her value shoots up to approximately $15,000.00 to $16,000.00: ~She needs a paint job, she is peeling worse that a bad sunburn! I blame the hail storm from several years back... ~Rust is minimal, but it is shown in the photos. ~She needs a windshield. Rock bounced off a city truck over the winter. ~A general tune-up. ~Muffler. ~Drivers side view mirror. Side street parking is for the birds! ~Heater control unit needs replaced with one that has a recirc button on it. The one that is in it now I got out of a pick-up, and it didn't have a recirc button. AC will not work without this unit. ~Rear tires. The front tires are not 12 months old yet. ~Thermostat sensor. Its spins! ~Oil pressure sensor. Its possessed! ~Front brakes eventually. they are just over 12 months old. ~The rear tailgate is stuck. I can't get it to come down. It needs a little elbow grease that is stronger than me! I am a weakling anyhow. ~Sway bar bolt. I know it came off, so it needs a new one. I can't tell the difference. *shrugs* ~The drivers side auto window is off track. You have to pull up and push down to get it to go all the way. ~The passenger side auto window button needs looked at. It only works when it wants to. That is not often... ~Passenger seat reclining handle needs tightened. The bolt is loose and it wont come up or go back. ~Gage bezel needs bezel screws. It stays, it just needs them if you want them. ~The drivers side door pin is not the original pin, its a hilljack pin. The door stays, the bolt stays, its just not an actual door pin... Okay, I confused myself there too... Well, that is everything I do believe. I hope if you are planning on buying this girl, you love your cars as much as I do. She is well worth the effort. I am not kidding you, I seen a restored one of these and I seen it sell, right in front of me, for $15,980.00. I was flabbergasted! If you have any questions or want to come and look at her, feel free to email me. Thanks for looking and happy bidding! She will make you a very happy driver, I guarantee it :) On Aug-09-11 at 11:52:18 PDT, seller added the following information:After corresponding with a bidder, I am inclined to tell you that the undercarriage is in great shape. It has been cared for regularly and has received rust protection in the past.
