1983 Honda CR

Here we have a nice CR480 Customized for better handling and control. I just put up pics, the bike is dusty from riding, I can clean it up and take more pics, email me if you need me to do that. I ride this bike almost every night after work, a real blast, hate to sell it. 1)1/4 Turn Throttle has been replaced with a standard throttle so if you grab a handful by mistake you have a better chance at not getting hurt. 2)Front forks changed out to early CR500 forks for disk brake. Works great. Personally I am looking for a wave rotor for even better front brake. 3)Carb has been set for 300 feet above sea level. 4)Front forks accept air as part of the adjustment. I weigh just about 220 and 8 lbs of air works perfect 5)Rear fender is a new black unit I had laying around, fit perfect 6)Custom made stainless steel filler plug 7)New Clutch cable makes pulling in the clutch a breeze This bike has been put together to be a daily rider. Take it to the MX track, the trails or ride it around your orchard like I do now. Corners only, no jumps, lol. I am too darn old. Can't Find my SD Card, email me for pics or I will post some later Tires were new about a month ago so they have a lot of tread on them. It is ready to go. No disappointments I have several parts available for separate purchase including: Front Forks with Triple Trees and stock CR480 Drum Brake, Newly Rebuilt Rear Shock - Fully Charged and ready to go, Spare Jug and Cylinder Head, Use Piston that looks fine (I can mic it for you if need be), original 1/4 turn throttle and cable, extra carbs, CDI Ignitor You as the buyer will be responsible for Shipping. 2 new Tie Downs are included in the price.
