This is a 1978 Ford Pinto. All original. Runs and drives nice. New tires and brakes. I bought the car two years ago in Texarkana Texas to use as a back-up drive train for another project. This car is in too good of a condition not to keep intact as is. It needs new seat covers on all three seats. Back seat is a folddown type. Needs new carpet. Glass in good shape, no cracks. Needs new hydralic cylinder supports for back glass. No dents or bondo. Original paint with minor surface rust repair in places. Needs dash pad cover.On Jul-26-11 at 12:06:13 PDT, seller added the following information: The car does have factory air-conditioning. It is intact and hooked up, but does not blow cold. It will need to be converted from the R22 to the new stuff. The air vent in the passenger floor is factory and is the vent for fresh air. The button switch on the console tray was something added in the past as a manual start button, but the column was starter/starter switch/key was fixed by the previous owner and can be removed. The resistor on the steering column down by the brake pedal appears is not attached to anything and appears to have been installed to prevent static on the radio. The radio is AM/FM and appears to be after-market.On Jul-27-11 at 13:14:17 PDT, seller added the following information: The car has rear defroster on the back glass. On Jul-28-11 at 22:23:06 PDT, seller added the following information: Ok, a couple things to add/change: (1) the car has 62,000 miles not 68,000. My bad. And the car radio is an AM/FM with 8-Track. The radio works fine. I don't have an 8-track tape to test the deck.
