This car is turn-key, ready to drive. This is a complete car, all original to factory with Twilight Turqouise exterior, Turquoise interior, V8 (289ci, 2bl carb. - C-code), Automatic C4 transmission with dual exhaust.My dad purchased this about 22-years ago as a project. The only modification before we bought it was a change from original drum brakes to disc brakes, which is a nice upgrade. We also did some mechanical maintenance before we restored it, which includes a 3-angle valve job with rebuilt heads, rebuilt transmission, rebuilt suspension with new leaf springs, new control arms, strut rod bushings, tie rods, ball joints, rear-end gear oil, rear-wheel bearings, rear-wheel seals, steering gear-box and rebuilt transmission. The earliest receipt is the transmission rebuild in September 1991 with 39,275 miles (receipt is shown in photos). All of the other receipts are dated after this which indicates about 3k miles on all this work. The suspension work was mostly completed in February 2000 (receipt on hand) and the steering gear box was replaced in 1992 with 40,927 miles (receipt on hand).The restoration began about 10-years ago. The fenders, hood, emblems, etc. were removed before receiving the turquoise, metallic paint. The bumpers were removed and re-chromed along with the interior chrome trim. The front grill and aluminum interior parts were re-anodized with new chrome (receipts on hand). One of the highlights with the interior is the dash. The dash pad was re-upholstered and the plastic dash looks outstanding. The plastic dash, as you can see, is very big and correctly restored with new chrome, argent paint and black paint. A new windshield was also installed and most all weatherstripping was replaced. Recent work includes new carburetor, new radiator, new water pump, new alternator, new timing cover, new fuel pump and fan shroud.This is probably one of the most original Falcons seen lately. The build sheet is located in the trunk, although it is cracked and will need to be put together like a puzzle. It will take a little bit of work, but it's there and very rare to see on a '65 Ford.Vehicle condition has been described as accurately as possible.
