For sale is a 2006 ST 1300 that I am the original owner and the bike has only been driven by me and has always been kept in a garage except when on trips. There are no modifications to the bike except a rear top carrying case has been added, and handlebar manual set cruise. This bike is an extremely good ride in any conditions. I have used it both on trips and back and forth to work and around town. The windshield is able to be automatically adjusted by a push of a button and I have found that to be a feature that all bikes should have. On the Interstate it is nice to be able to keep the wind at bay while cruising along at 80 yet around town it is great having it all the way down on hot days. With the windshield up the air flow is such that on the Interstate you can almost stay completely dry. One time driving back from Cleveland a storm hit quickly and I didn't want to stop along the road and kept driving even though both other bikes and cars were pulling on the side. Won't tell you that I was perfectly dry but after I ran through the storm and got home about 30 minutes later I could not feel any dampness anywhere. This bike handles the curves, Interstate and above speed, yet is just as content to motor through town. My reason for selling is both financial and my arthritis is becoming a problem taking trips. While I will not be responsible for delivery I will assist in any way that I am able to including riding it to you home if the distance is not to far away.On Aug-04-11 at 09:28:04 PDT, seller added the following information: Both tires have less that 500 miles on them and the rear brake pads are also new. All luggage is removable and the bike has a 7 gallon tank so you don't have to worry about gas stations on a long trip.
