This was the 1st year of the 107 body style and a V8 fuel injected engine. This car was purchased at the Mercedes plant in Germany and brought back to the states by it's original owner, a picture of the build plate with the owners name and the vin number are included. The engine has had a recent top engine rebuild, the heads where pulled, valves ground, several valves replaced, new valve guides and valve guide seals. The fuel pump and manifold pressure sensor have been replaced. The fuel tank was pulled, bead blasted inside and out and coated to prevent corrosion and then reinstalled. The car was tuned up last fall and runs well, motor does not smoke! This is a Driver not a show car, body is solid with no visible rust problems. The hard top is included. Good canidate for a full restoration as very few of these cars were brought to the states that year! Any questions call Rick at 269-370-4270.
