I am the second owner of this bike and I bought it in 1990. The bike has been stored in my garage and covered for the last 7 years. Bike ran excellent when I parked it and nothing was wrong with it. The bike will start now and run, but it needs the usual carburetor clean-out after being stored that long. Oil pressure is good. I’m not going to spend a lot of time trying to get it running and all checked over, so it will need to be trailered to the winning bidder. After being stored that long, there is surface rust on a lot of the chrome, and from what I’ve checked, it will come off on most all chrome parts. I put a new windshield on it just before I parked it. All of the paint job is in excellent condition and will shine beautifully. The whole bike is in black with the usual gold pin-striping around it. Saddlebags, fairing, and rear trunk are all in great condition. There has been no major work done on it except the usual oil/filter and spark plug changes. It does not leak any fluids. Tires are in pretty good shape, but I would definitely check them over, just because of their age. Seat is in excellent condition with no tears or fading. The bike has never been stored outside. The actual mileage is 32,067 miles. It is a 1100cc water cooled engine with shaft drive. I will deliver/meet you within a 75 mile range of Mt. Vernon, IL.
