YOU ARE BIDDING ON A VERY CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED 1979 CHEVROLET CORVETTE WITH BORED AND STROKED 350 LONGBLOCK AND 400 C.I. CRANK TO YIELD A 383 STROKER!!!This car turns heads everywhere I drive...the custom red striping and mirrored glass t-tops sets it aside from other 79's out there. NOT TO MENTION, the massive power plant garners attention even at idle. This car was used in the Seafair parade here in Seattle in the 90's. The thought of a beauty queen waving out of the t-tops gives it a little extra panache... This is an older build but still runs VERY strong. It pains me to sell this beauty but now that I am a dad who is focusing on a career, I must set aside things like this to someone who may have the desire and time to take care of such a vehicle. This is a car that with a little TLC once in a while can be a pretty sweet driver. I am looking for a buyer who can garage it and take care of my first baby!!!I have over $25k in receipts for the professionally built drivetrain and maintenance over the years This 1979 Corvette with drivetrain built to the hilt is a 2 door coupe with mirror glass T-tops, red interior, brushed aluminum rims, and factory air conditioning!!! Electric Windows, Door Locks, power steering and brakes, and power antenna. ONLY 56,841 ORIGINAL MILES! This current setup under the hood produces a very quick car with a very beastly idle and the mild gear drive adds to its curb appeal. The paint job is decent for 30 years old and the car is perfectly straight. There are the typical fiberglass webs in a few spots but this just adds to the provenance of the car. These corvettes with fiberglass bodies are notorious for this happening unfortunately. The front bumper will eventually need some attention as it is a plastic sheath and shows several cracks in the paint due to basically just being a bumper... This has the correct 350 longblock that has been bored and fitted with a 400 c.i. crank to yield 383 cubic inches!!! The custom pinstripes/graphics really make it stand out if you compare it to other vettes of the C3 generation....I hold clear WA title and have been the owner since 1998.
