Here's my daughters 2000 mercury cougar. We bought this car two years ago with 106,000 my daughter drove it for maybe a year and it's been sitting ever since. She no longer needs it so I'm selling it. The cars interior is in excellent condition with no noticeable wear. It is loaded with power accessories; windows,door locks, mirrors, moon roof, driver seat has pwr tilt. It also has cruise, tilt, cd, alarm/remote entry, and many other options. It even still has new car smell when you open the door! Under the hood is a 2.5 liter 24 valve v6 that has plenty of pep. The motor runs great doesn't use oil or smoke, there's also a new alternator which was just installed, (you can't see it in the pictures cause it's on the bottom of the engine). The body is in good shape, it has a couple of rust bubbles on the rockers which I tried to show in the pictures. It also has a couple of minor scratches on the rear bumper, but other than that it's in great shape. The only bad news is that after you drive this car for a while (5 or 10 miles) the transmission starts occasionally shifting hard. The od light doesn't blink but the trany is definately not 100%. The car shifted like this from the time we bought it and we continued to drive it with no adverse effects. I already have nearly $5,000 invested in this car and am not interested in finding out if this is a serious issue or not so I'm listing this car well under KBB! This car should pass inspection with zero issues and the transmission is the only issue I've found with this car, it drives beautiful and is a great little car.:
