Up for auction is a very nice 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 XL. Very solid and straight. Runs, drives, starts and stops excellent. Power steering, power brakes, and working air conditioner. BODY: Very straight and clean. No signs of rust or damage. Paint a 9 out of a 10. Small pings and dings, because I drive my cars. Bumpers and trim again a 9 out of a 10. INTERIOR: Excellent red XL interior, buckets, console, AM FM radio, all lights and switches work as they should. MOTOR: 390 4V, rebuilt less than 5,000 miles, factory specs, Edlebrock carb, dual exhaust. Starts up easy, no smoke or leaks. TRANS: C6, rebuilt same times as motor, smooth crisp shifts. WHEELS & TIRES: 15 X 8 and 15 X7 American Torq Thrust . 235/70/15 and 215/65/15 radials with less than 500 miles. As opinions vary, I strongly suggest inspecting the car in person.
