1989 Mercedes Benz 420 SEL Florida car most of its life NO SALT AND NO RUST. Excelent original condition car runs like a swiss watch needs very little and is a true bargain at the asking price. I do not know much about these cars to be honest I took it on trade. Runs great no rust issues tires are almost new AND THE A/C BLOWS ICE COLD thats the main thing right now in this heat ! To top it off depending on your state law it can be registered as Historic and there is no state inspection involved. No major leaks no smoking tires are almost new the interior is very clean and for its age the leather interior is very nice just some very minor cracking. Power sunroof works perfect power windows/seats/mirrors has 196k original miles (looks like 80k) and its great reliable transportation for someone at a very reasonable price. Engine is quiet no exhaust leaks can hardly hear it run. Transmission shifts smooth and frim absolutely no issues and it rides just like a Benz....smooth. The only thing I noticed is its a little sluggish when you first accelerate.... but just at first... then smooth right out and goes great. Might be just how they are I have never owned an older one I know this model didn't have alot of performance or horsepower. Has a newer CD stereo with a single speaker under console (needs 2 new speakers mounted in back) but the original stereo and speakers are in the trunk. Come see and drive for yourself that way everybody is on the same page nothing to hide here it is what it is. I was very impressed with the car as is everyone that looks at it. For the age and miles its a cool ride and not alot of $. The check engine light came on while I was driving it the other night but I checked all fluids fuses etc. and could not find anything. It runs smooth no misses or anything obvious might just be a sensor or something simple...cars runs too good to be anything serious. Car is being sold as is with no warranty. A $300 deposit is due 48hrs after auctions end with balance due within 5 days. 0 feedback bidders must contact me or your bid will be erased. This was a high $ car in 1989 and can be bought at a small fraction of that and even at 196k miles this car has plenty of life in it. As you can see the car has been taken care of and serviced on a regular basis and it shows ! I shined a light down in the valve covers and the engine is very clean inside no sludge. Also has no door dings or major scratches the front plastic bumper has a few chips and minor cracks otherwise I would rate the ORIGINAL PAINT an easy 8.5 on a scale of 1-10 and the interior an 8.5 on a scale of 1-10 considering age and miles.
