Thank you for looking at my NO RESERVE auction for this 1965 Ramble American 440 convertible. Red with white top, black seats with white door panels. Interior was redone approximately 7 years ago. The top is in pretty good condition. Excellent grille with good bumpers. All the bright work is there. Some cloudiness in the chrome and some dings in the trim. Driver's seat back needs some work to stay up and not recline. Cheapie red paint job has a nice shine but also has dings, cracks, fish eyes, and runs in the paint. Overall it is in "driver" condition with some rust in the trunk, rockers, with bondo & fiberglass in the rear quarters (but the inner quarter drop downs are good). No rust in the floor pans or frame rails. 6 cylinder engine runs but smokes under acceleration. New plugs, wires, and cap. Manual 3 on the tree trans shifter linkage needs some work as it is hard to get it into first. Brakes are spongey and the bias ply tires are well worn and cracking. Its very hard to find a very rare classic car like this that runs, drives, and stops in this price range. International buyers OK and I can deliver this car to the Los Angeles port for only $300. Again, this is a NO RESERVE auction so one bid could win. Bidders with little or no feedback need to call me prior to bidding as I am weary of spending good money for auctions won by non-paying bidders. Private party sale so no state Arizona sales tax. A $300 deposit is due within 48 hours of auction close. Balance due in 7 days or at the time of pick-up, whichever comes first.
