Hi, you are looking at a 1973 Datsun 240z. I recently purchased it the fall of 2010 with the plans to do a little work to it and get it out to enjoy. A little background info, Ive gotten the opportunity to purchase a car that is very dear to me so unfortunately the 240z has to go. As for the car, it is in really good shape. Ive posted the rust spots in the pics. The only real major rust area is located in the driver foot well. Its slightly larger than a 50 cent piece. The driver rear wheel well is showing some bubbles (also posted in pics.) The engine is a L28E N47/N42. SU Carbs. The engine needs some serious tuning. That was my next objective with Z therapy. They offer some solutions with SU carbs. It runs but not very well. Interior isnt bad, I think the seats just had the skins replaced, they are in great shape, no cracking or tears. Dash has the usual cracks (car does have a dash cover). Some of the gauges do not work, including fuel, clock, and I believe temperature. Finally, the car does not have a radio installed. I dont think it is drivable long distance, please bring a trailer. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. Thanks for looking.
