This one owner original has been extremely well maintained and pampered all of its 20,900 original miles. This beauty runs and drives like the day it came off the showroom floor. You will no doubt turn heads as you cruise to your favorite places. This is the car that makes you want to get out and enjoy the road! Starting Off This Ford XL Convertible is an unbelievable ride! It is hard to describe the feeling that you have of gliding over the road. This piece shows a former owner that took great care and pride in her convertible. Original documentation comes with this luxurious piece. You will be impressed at the showroom condition this car has been kept! Exterior Condition The “Dark Aqua Metallic” blue exterior shows reflective properties and very good color on all panels and surfaces. All glass is clear and unscratched even in the convertible top. The white wheel tires still have plenty of life and still sport the original hubcaps. The convertible top is white and is in immaculate shape. The body is very solid and straight. Just a few minor imperfections can be found on the exterior of this car! Interior Condition You will find an exceptional interior that has no rips or tears. The vinyl seating has good color and very minimal discoloration in a few spots. The dash is perfect here also an in full working order. The AM radio is original and sounds great. What a place to emerge yourself in luxury and fun! Mechanical Condition Powered by a 390, V8 engine, this automatic transmission delivers the luxury performance and perfection behind the accelerator you are looking for. This vehicle is nearly as perfect as it was in 1970. In closing I have had the pleasure to experience many classic cars and this is one of my favorite, and the best driving Ford XL I have ever driven. This Ford XL Convertible is an unbelievable ride! It is hard to describe the feeling that you have of gliding over the road. This piece shows a former owner that took great care and pride in her convertible. Original documentation comes with this luxurious piece. Exterior Condition

The “Dark Aqua Metallic” blue exterior shows reflective properties and very good color on all panels and surfaces. All glass is clear and unscratched even in the convertible top. The white wheel tires still have plenty of life and still sport the original hubcaps. The convertible top is white and is in immaculate shape. The body is very solid and straight. Just a few minor imperfections can be found on the exterior of this car!

Interior Condition

You will find an exceptional interior that has no rips or tears. The vinyl seating has good color and very minimal discoloration in a few spots. The dash is perfect here also an in full working order. The AM radio is original and sounds great.

Mechanical Condition

Powered by a 390, V8 engine, this automatic transmission delivers the luxury performance and perfection behind the accelerator you are looking for. This vehicle is nearly as perfect as it was in 1970.

Enjoying a long-standing reputation as the industry's "quiet one," Ford for 1970 continues its tradition for easy handling, road-smoothing ride, high-performance and quality craftsmanship. Ford enters the seventies with a selection of 21 models - 14 new passenger cars and 7 new station wagons - grouped into six series: Custom, Custom 500, Galaxie 500, XL, LTD, and LTD Brougham. All 1970 Fords feature new rear and side ornamentation, new exterior colors, plus two new, more formal grilles. Interior comfort has been improved with the addition of a new Flow-Thru ventilation system and several new convenience features, including pull-type door handles. Among a host of engineering improvements are redesigned front suspension system, new optional electric defrost system for the back window and new steering wheels with concealed horn blowing mechanism. Bias-ply fiberglass-belted tires, optional last year, are standard.
