Talk about unique this 49 Dodge takes the cake. Just imagine pull up to your local car show in this 49, or just a Cruise night. Powered by the well known, amazingly dependable and incredible powered 440 magnum! This car sound great, cruises down the highway effortlessly, and when you put the peddle down you just may end up in the back seat. A retro styled paint job that is very nice but no so nice that you don’t want to drive it. The stereo sounds great and the car drives very smooth. Engine Transmission and Rear EndStarts easy and sounds great, 440 .30 over is what we were told by the previous owner. The engine has mild cam and runs on pump gas, starts easily and shifts smooth, believed to be a Turbo 400 if not someone will let me know. To put the ponies to the pavement there is a 12 bolt rear end. No noises from the engine, tranny, u-joints or rear end. Interior Very nice here too, appears to be original seats that have been recovered and sit very comfortable, all gauges work, including the speedometer The dash is flat black, the heat works great and the CD/stereo sound great. The hood latches for both hoods are located in the interior and operate as designed. The tilt steering operates properly, the horn and lights are all in operational condition. The Leather covered steering wheel has no tears or rips. The door panels match the seats and the carpets are fair with nice floor mats. Exterior Very unique retro styled paint, could be show quality with a little work I believe most imperfections could be wet sanded out, now it has a very nice cruising paint job that could be shown or just a daily driver. The blending from white to red is very smooth with no ridges in the paint. the body is molded from all steel no fiberglass and very little bond just to make the transitions smooth. The front end has been subframed, maybe a early 70’s Nova or similar. In Closing I started off by saying this piece is very unique, that is understated, This old street rod is just a blast to drive, and gets constant thumbs up very dependable, this would be the perfect car for someone who want s super cool cruiser and doesn’t want to break the bank. Where to start on this piece, writing these ads and expressing a car can sometimes be a challenge, unless you have something very unique. Talk about unique this 49 Dodge takes the cake. Just imagine pull up to your local car show in this 49, or just a Cruise night. Powered by the well known, amazingly dependable and incredible powered 440 magnum! This car sound great, cruises down the highway effortlessly, and when you put the peddle down you just may end up in the back seat. A retro styled paint job that is very nice but no so nice that you don’t want to drive it. The stereo sounds great and the car drives very smooth.

Engine Transmission and Rear End

Starts easy and sounds great, 440 .30 over is what we were told by the previous owner. The engine has mild cam and runs on pump gas, starts easily and shifts smooth, believed to be a Turbo 400 if not someone will let me know. To put the ponies to the pavement there is a 12 bolt rear end. No noises from the engine, tranny, u-joints or rear end.

Interior

Very nice here too, appears to be original seats that have been recovered and sit very comfortable, all gauges work, including the speedometer The dash is flat black, the heat works great and the CD/stereo sound great. The hood latches for both hoods are located in the interior and operate as designed. The tilt steering operates properly, the horn and lights are all in operational condition. The Leather covered steering wheel has no tears or rips. The door panels match the seats and the carpets are fair with nice floor mats.

Exterior

Very unique retro styled paint, could be show quality with a little work I believe most imperfections could be wet sanded out, now it has a very nice cruising paint job that could be shown or just a daily driver. The blending from white to red is very smooth with no ridges in the paint. the body is molded from all steel no fiberglass and very little bond just to make the transitions smooth. The front end has been subframed, maybe a early 70’s Nova or similar.

In Closing

I started off by saying this piece is very unique, that is understated, This old street rod is just a blast to drive, and gets constant thumbs up very dependable, this would be the perfect car for someone who want s super cool cruiser and doesn’t want to break the bank.
