You are bidding on a 2008 STI that has less than 13,000 miles on the car and transmission and less than 1,500 miles on the motor and clutch. I am the origonal owner of the car that was bought new in May 2008 in Las Vegas NV. I have a complete set of Inke 15" rally rims and gravel tires as well as the group N brakes and brackets for the days you want to go Rally Crossing that goes with the car. This car was bought strictly for recreational fun with the SCCA in both Auto Cross and Rally Cross events. In Sept. 2009 the car experienced a mechanical failure inside of the motor at an event in St Louis. In May of 2010 I had a completely new motor built by Suba Performance in Denver Colorado with all new parts listed below. Cosworth Racing parts listed; pistons, rings, conn. rods, main & rod bearings, cams, dual valve springs & head gaskets. New Subaru parts include; motor cases, nitride treated crank, water pump, oil pump, oil cooler, gasket kit and head shims. Complete valve job, ARP head studs, Kevlar timing belt, Grimm speed thermostat, 1,000cc Deatch injectors, Tomei Header, Perrin crank Pulley, Act light weight flywheel and stage 2 clutch, Crawford performance CP35R rotated turbo kit, Walbro 255 fuel pump, Group N motor and tranny mounts, Kart boy short shifter and bushings, Howerton Engineering methanol injection kit, Tial blow off valve, 3" exhaust with a magnaflow muffler. All this was conservatively final tuned by EFI Logics in Conneticut on their mustang dyno. The outcome was a 430 wheel horse power beast that runs at 23psi and is tuned to last with years of fun and abuse. I specifically asked it to be tuned to last to protect my $25,000 rebuild investment. I have all of the documents and receipts for this vehichle from the 1st day I owned it and trust me I left a bunch of the finer details about parts bought and money spent to get this car to where it is. However unfortunate it is this $70,000 beast has to find a new home, If you bid and win this car be ready for a monster of a car that is in excellent mechanical condition with 1 cosmetic blemish that happend when the car was being moved from Il to NY which is minor and is located on the driver side rear door which does not effect the operation of the door at all it is just a small crease that I will include a picture of.
