I'll hate to see it go... This is my sons 1997 Honda Civic EX. We bought it for him back in October of 2005 and it has served him (and us) well. We bought the car from a dealer with 63,000 miles and and it currently has just over 91,000. My son left the car at home in NJ when he left for college in downtown Chicago four years ago. As a result the car has seen limited duty these last four years. It can sit for 3 - 4 months at a time and you can jump in and it will start right up. It's super reliable! Other than changing the oil and a drivers side window regulator it has been problem free. My wife and I will use it from time to time when our cars are out of service and its a blast to drive. It has several small dings and chips from being driven over the years but nothing major. The paint is getting a little tired in places (I included a picture of the worse spot on the hood). A good compounding and wax would help. It has a small kink on the hood where someone tried to close the hood with the prop rod still in place (very common). Its got an Alpine CD receiver with an Ipod adapter and upgraded speakers. Other than that, it is bone stock. I've attached a picture of the original window sticker so you can see what options it has. It has Michelin tires with about half their tread left. It would make a great first car for someones new driver, or super reliable transportation for someone looking to get great gas milage.
