1970 Triumph Bonneville

This is a relist of an auction. The buyer "accidentally" hit the buy it now button but did not want to follow through on the transaction. PLEASE do not hit the buy it now button unless you plan on completing the transaction. I am selling this bike for a close friend. He has been a collector of British bikes for many years but due to declining health he can no longer ride on 2 wheels. Rather than see these bikes collect dust he has decided to sell a couple of them. This is a 1970 model that is in great shape and recently restored. The only item that is not to original specs are the +2" fork tubes and the mufflers. Since the photos were taken the short mufflers have been replaced with the tapered ones shown in the last pic. And although not the original paint color it is new paint complete with scallops and pinstriping. The motor runs nicely and the bike rides as good as it did in 1970. The motor and frame numbers match. All chrome including wheel rims are in very nice condition. Those of you who know Triumphs also know that the 1970 model was an end to an era and is fastly becoming a very desirable model. You just do not see a bike in this shape for this price!
