Vehicle Detail
Beautiful Bronco with Sport option, 289, great cancer free body Brand new black interior with 3 seats, roll bar, smooth running engine. Drove it recently on a four hour trip with no problems. The bronco for auction here has a great body. It is Nevada vehicle, which is the reason that it has not had the usual bronco rust issues. The body panels are straight with only minimal imperfections. The floors are not rusted out. I looked under the carpet in front and back and did not see any rot. It’s pretty hard to find a bronco that isn’t full of rust. The dash is also blue, as are the interior bed sides, wheel wells and floor. In the engine bay, please look at the inner fenders and you will see that they do not have rust holes like almost all of them. The doors are the correct style with detachable window frames for ’67. Folding windshield with the right latches for connecting to the hood. Argent painted grill (Sport option) with the correct chrome trim of headlight rings, grill emblems, and grill surround trim. Chrome front bumper with bumperette garnishes. Fenders are complete with nostalgic 289 insignia, and Bronco Sport emblems. Sport emblem on driver side is a new one. Chrome Sport door mirror on driver door. The bracket for the license plate was chrome plated a couple of months ago. Latch on rear gate is chrome and rear bumper too. The windows on the sides have the bright aluminum trim. The trim on the top is all there too. All terrain 31 inch tires Chrome modular wheels, 15x8 The suspension sits proud with a c-bushing and radius arm bushing kit with dual shocks in the front. The engine is 289 cubic inch. Carburetor is stock 2 barrel, cast iron intake, exhaust manifolds. Single exhaust and new muffler. The ignition is Electronic (no points to change) I believe the mileage total to the truck is approx 114k but that is only a guess. Clutch feels good. Warn locking hubs. 3 speed trans There is a new shift boot on the transfer case chrome pushbutton shifter. Blinkers all work, front and rear. The hazard/emergency lights are operating and so are the brake lamps. The dash lights work. Headlamps and tail lamps are working. Front markers work. The horn doesn’t. The fuel gauge works. Extra range rear fuel tank with 23 gallon capacity by North West Metal Products. Temp gauge works, Oil pressure working, Amp needle works but is out of calibration. Speedo needle has dropped although the odometer works. The wipers work . All of the side glass and the glass in the hardtop is is tinted. No cracks in the glass. WS has a small bubble in the center. It has the original type spare tire rack with spare The interior is new and was just bolted in about a week ago. There are maybe 20 miles on the new interior. The top still has a headliner and visors too. The seat brackets have been painted black and the new interior has rebuilt original type front bucket seats with black "Oxen" material and original looking textured center fabric. There is complete chrome on both front seats. The passenger seat folds and tumbles as original design. The black dash pad was also reupholstered a while back and is in excellent shape. There is a rare piece of chrome trim on the bottom of the dash that I believe was a Sport option. New black front door panels with same pattern continuing. New upholsery on armrests too. Bench seat in the back has new upholstery on both cushions and has the right armrest configuration for this year. While the bench was disassembled, the seat bars were repainted in black enamel. The floors are carpeted to tailgate (carpet not new). If you are looking for a mostly original appearing early bronco with a solid clean body, then you owe it to yourself to make this one yours.
