1994 BMW R-Series

Up for bid once more due to last bidder not coming through is a 1994 BMW with the famous boxer engine that went through some great changes for this model. over head cam,4 valves per cylinder,fuel injected and nearly 100 HP. I use it to go back and forth to work to save on fuel. This bike has a lot of torque and runs great, has low mileage for a 17 year old bike, has been serviced regularly with the best, and has a fresh service on it now. As you can see in the photos I lowered the pegs and added bar backs and risers to make it more comfortable to ride, it has heated grips and every thing works although the ABS light blinks now and then, but has great breaks and the fluid has been replaced.I replaced the exhaust with one from a RT model and modified the left bag to fit,also replaced the rear turn signals. The bags are detachable, motor burns no oil and starts every time,added a new battery a few month ago.I am a John Deere mechanic and and at 72 years old need something with 3 wheels because this bike is a bit to heavy for me now.A bill of sale at purchase and the clear title in about 2 weeks. I have the seat that came with the bike as I have replaced it with a new one.I also installed a new oil sight glass and safety wired it in, added a larger pad to the side stand and removed the fuel filter from the gas tank to the lower out side for easy changing. The rubber has a lot of wear left and I get about 55 to 65 MPG with this bike.It has the normal few scratches that a cure with a bike this old. It has new Ohlin shocks front and rear($1300.00)worth.I will answer any questions that you might have.If you check out my feed back over the years you will see that I am a straight person to deal with and there is no reserve price set on this bike so winning bid gets it.Added two more pictures to show the only big scratch that is on the left side front fender and to show how it looks with out the bags.If you review these bikes you will find that they go for over 4K to over 5K (Just lowered by $300.00 offered at $3500.00 bottom line)Note, the pictures make it look like it is white, but it is metallic silver.
