1998 black Ford Escort ZX2 Sport 2-dr, 2.0L I4 EFI, with automatic transmission, keyless entry (one button is missing but it still works), good, cold air conditioning, AM/FM/cassette player, CD Changer in trunk (has NOT been tested), driver and passenger front airbags, and cruise control. Paint is oxidized and fading over much of the vehicle, but is worse on the hood, top and trunk. There is a dent on the left front quarter panel, a smaller dent on the right front quarter panel, and the windshield is scratched, apparently from the wipers being run with damaged or no blades. The car runs good and the transmission shifts good. This vehicle was impounded by the Keene Police Department from a traffic stop in October 2008. The vehicle was being driven at the time of the traffic stop. The buyer will receive an "Auction Sales Receipt for an Abandoned Motor Vehicle Sold by a Law Enforcement Agency at Public Auction". There is no current registration or inspection on this vehicle. The vehicle will have to be towed or trailered from Keene PD - it can NOT be driven away unless a temporary tag is purchased or the buyer registers the vehicle. No delivery available.
